Dear Friends, With the legislative session at the half-way point, many significant issues have been discussed. Some top issues include, gun-control, licensing for medical practitioners, and continuing the mission to increase access in educational opportunities for the students of Colorado. The Colorado House has received a number of emails relating to gun-control. The debate on these bills was extensive and I gave my best arguments on why there should not be any laws relating to gun-regulation. The final votes of the bills were very close, with some Democrats even voting against some of the bills. I promise that I have listened to the constituency's concerns and voted according to principle. When I took my Oath of Office, I swore to uphold the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Jan Pawlowski has announced her bid for RTD Board, District K. The former Brighton Mayor's interest in regional transportation extends from her noted accomplishments in economic development, helping to position Brighton as one of the fastest-growing cities in the country through project sanctions that have included the Prairie Center, Adams Crossing Government Center, and Brighton Paviliions.
